ADMISSIONS
Nossi College of Art seeks to select students who possess creative talent in art or photography and are eager to work hard in order that they may explore new possibilities and thus produce original and creative works. Students who possess these qualities do not always display talent that can be measured by traditional means. Nossi College of Art is fortunate that it has enjoyed for over thirty-five years the reputation of attracting and training talented young men and women. This is possible only because we require that the Commercial Art applicant present their art portfolio to the director or president in person. Photography applicants are also required to meet with the director or president and convince them that they are serious about a career in Commercial Digital Photography.

FINANCIAL AID
Nossi College of Art is approved to offer several programs through which students may apply for financial aid and scholarships.

JOB PLACEMENT
Nossi College of Art's Job Placement Department is as important as any other department at the college. Our Job Placement Director works closely with instructors of courses in Small Business Management and Portfolio/Resume and Career Preparation to prepare our graduates for the industry.

RESOURCE CENTER
Nossi College of Art's Resource Center offers a comfortable environment in which students can read, research and study. The resource center holds a collection of Fine Art books, Commercial Art and Photography books and periodicals. Wireless internet is available for research.
CAMPUS HOUSING
Cyan Properties, LLC is the agent of Nossi College of Art and provides limited on-campus furnished housing for our students, on a first-come first-serve basis. In addition there are a number of fine apartment complexes, some within walking distance of the college. If you need assistance in securing campus housing or an apartment, you may contact the Business Office at donna@nossi.com.
AWARDS
The following awards are given each semester to students for their accomplishments:
GPA Awards (3.6 and higher): certificates are given to these students.
Most Class Participation: certificates and a gift certificate are given to these students.
Most Improved: certificates and a gift certificate are given to these students.
Most Creative: certificates and a gift certificate are given to these students.
Talent Discovery Award: certificates and a $400 check are given to these students.

Create a Comic Strip - Win a Scholarship
Put your imagination to work to win a partial scholarship to Nossi College of Art. Simply create a 3-5 panel comic strip with your own super hero either on the computer or on paper. Rules of Comic Strip Competition
- Entry must be original design by submitting artist using any medium or combination of mediums such as computer graphics, or hand illustration, etc.
- Video/film will not be accepted.
- Entries can be submitted either as a computer file, on compact disc or as a hard copy in an 8” x 10” format. Computer files must be saved as a jpeg or tif file.
- Entries must be received by Friday, August 10, 2007 in the Nossi College of Art administrative office. Deliver a CD or hard copy to:

- Nossi College of Art will not be held responsible for emails and/or their attachments that cannot be opened.
- Winners will be announced on August 17, 2007 and contacted by Phone.
- To qualify, entries must meet the quality standards set forth by the school Admissions Policy, showing skill, creativity and potential for professional competence.
- Include on your submission: Name, Address, Phone Number, and Email Address.
- Affix/tape completed information to back upper–right-hand corner of artwork or include with compact disc or send as attachment with email.
- Only students in their Junior or Senior year of high school or high school graduates or GED graduates are eligible. Current students are not eligible.
- One “Best of Show” winner will be selected by the judging staff at Nossi College of Art.
- The “Best of Show” winner will receive a partial scholarship to Nossi College of Art of $2,400.00 over the six-semester program they choose.
- The winner must graduate from high school before attending Nossi College of Art.
- All selections and decisions made by the judging staff at Nossi College of Art are final.
- Entries will not be returned.
- By entering, applicants give permission to use their names and likeness in press releases and promotional materials by Nossi College of Art .
